1. The numbers you enter into our calculators

Every calculator on Abaca Digital is built in JavaScript and runs entirely in your browser. When you enter a loan amount, income figure, home price, or any other value into a calculator, that data is processed locally on your device to produce a result — it is never sent to, stored on, or logged by our servers.

We have no way of seeing, collecting, or accessing the specific figures you enter. Closing the tab or refreshing the page clears whatever you typed in, because it was never stored anywhere in the first place.

2. Information we do collect

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage — things like which pages and calculators are visited, how long people stay, what device or browser they're using, and general geographic location (typically city or region level, not a precise address). This is aggregated usage data, not personal information tied to your identity, and it does not include anything you type into a calculator.

We do not use any other analytics platform, tracking pixel, heatmap tool, session recorder, or third-party marketing software beyond Google Analytics. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy to reflect it.

3. How Google Analytics works

Google Analytics collects data using cookies and similar technologies. This may include your IP address (which Google can truncate or anonymize depending on settings), browser type, device type, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site. Google processes this data on our behalf and under its own privacy practices, which you can review directly:

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie and privacy settings as described below.

4. Cookies

Abaca Digital uses a limited set of cookies:

• Essential/functional cookies — may be used to remember basic display preferences as you navigate the site. These don't identify you personally.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking beyond Google Analytics. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so won't stop our calculators from working — they run independently of cookies — but it will stop analytics data from being collected during your visit.

5. Information you provide directly

If you contact us directly — for example, by email — we'll have access to whatever information you choose to share in that message, such as your name and email address. We use this only to respond to you and don't add it to any marketing list or share it with third parties.

6. Data we don't collect

To be clear about what this site does not do:

• We don't require account creation, sign-up, or login to use any calculator.
• We don't store the financial, personal, or academic figures you enter into a calculator.
• We don't sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We don't use tracking or analytics tools beyond Google Analytics.

7. Children's privacy

Abaca Digital is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since our calculators don't store any input data, and our only analytics tool collects aggregated, non-identifying usage data, this risk is inherently limited. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we'll address it.

8. Your choices

You can control how this site handles data related to you by:

• Disabling cookies in your browser settings
• Using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on linked above
• Using private/incognito browsing to avoid persistent cookies
• Using browser extensions that block analytics scripts

None of these will affect your ability to use our calculators, since they run entirely client-side regardless of your cookie or analytics settings.

9. Data security

Because calculator inputs never leave your browser, there's no server-side database of your figures to secure or that could be exposed in a breach. The site itself is served over HTTPS to protect the connection between your browser and our site. Google Analytics data is handled under Google's own security practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if we add or change the tools we use to understand site usage. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back periodically.
