Abaca Digital builds free, accurate, easy-to-use calculators for the decisions and problems people run into every day — from figuring out a mortgage payment to converting units for a physics assignment. No sign-ups, no clutter, just tools that give you a real answer fast.
Why we do this
Good decisions start with good numbers. Whether you're comparing loan offers, checking your homework, sizing a network transfer, or trying to understand a formula from a textbook, the math itself shouldn't be the obstacle. We build tools that do the calculation correctly, show their work, and get out of your way.
Abaca Digital started with a simple frustration: most calculators online are either too basic to be useful or too cluttered with ads and unrelated content to trust. So we set out to build something different — calculators that are accurate, transparent about their assumptions, and genuinely fast to use. The name nods to the abacus, one of the oldest calculating tools in human history — we're just building the modern, digital version of the same idea: something reliable you can count on.

How we build our calculators
Correct math, first and always
Every formula is checked against standard references and, where relevant, official definitions — IEC and SI standards for units, standard amortization formulas for loans, established formulas for math and physics. Accuracy isn't negotiable.
Clear about assumptions
A calculator is only as good as what it doesn't hide. We explain what each tool assumes — fixed vs. variable rates, decimal vs. binary units, rounding conventions — so you know exactly what you're looking at.
