THE APPLICATION

A straightforward interface.
A complex data model.

Since 2024, work on T&N has involved developing the backend system and database for an internal insurance claims application, through another agency.

The application uses ASP.NET MVC. It is a purpose-built business system for claims information and operational processes, rather than a website content management system.

The interface is deliberately practical: forms, tabs and tables give internal users access to detailed records. Much of the technical complexity sits in the database and the logic behind those screens.

CONNECTED INFORMATION

Several parts of a claim.
One working application.

The supplied interface material shows claimant and claim details alongside disease and employment history, document access and an audit section.

It also shows valuation and trust-fund provision information, with settlement, medical and legal amounts presented through structured forms and tables.

These areas illustrate why a simple-looking application can require substantial backend development: information has to be related and calculations have to reflect the relevant business rules.

Ongoing work on a live system.

The application remains in internal use. The date above describes the developer’s involvement since 2024, not a claim that the entire system was first launched in that year.

This project is presented as experience delivered through another agency. It does not imply that T&N commissioned Abaca Digital directly.

Experience beyond CMS websites.

T&N demonstrates work on data-intensive internal applications: the kind of system where forms may be simple, while relationships, calculations and reporting carry the technical depth.
