THE PROJECT

A varied homepage.
Content managed behind it.

In 2013, Abaca Digital developed the CMS for Kameleon, a design agency. The original website brought together agency information, featured projects, selected work, clients, news and supporting content.

Our role was the content management system. The website imagery illustrates the presentation that system supported; it is not a claim that we created the agency's visual design or its clients' campaigns.

THE EDITOR'S WORKFLOW

Edit pages
and individual modules.

The surviving content guide documents both backend management and an editing mode on the website itself. Editors could open a page, enable editing, lock it for changes and update content through a WYSIWYG editor.

Homepage boxes could be edited individually through module controls, with titles, content and associated media maintained through the CMS.

BEHIND THE INTERFACE

Editing in context.

The guide shows an editor opening a homepage module while the public layout remains visible behind it. The edit panel combines settings with content editing, making the individual module the focus of the change.

This provides a concrete example of the CMS work behind the website, beyond the public homepage alone.

CONTENT HANDOVER

Guidance for the team.

The project material includes guidance for image dimensions, media categories, page creation, homepage editing, forms, selected work and team content. These instructions document how the content team could manage different parts of the site.

The screenshots are historical records. They do not represent a currently available hosted CMS service or an ongoing support arrangement.
