THE PROJECT

A home for
different kinds of design stories.

In 2014, Abaca Digital developed the CMS for Frame Mark China as a direct client project, using the client's supplied visual design. The surviving homepage image presents it as an editorial destination, with image-led features and several distinct content areas.

Our role was CMS development; the visual design was supplied by the client. The image combines a prominent lead story with articles, people profiles, news, events and resources. It provides a useful record of the proposed presentation even though the project's public launch status is uncertain.

VISIBLE IN THE HOMEPAGE IMAGE

A magazine-style
content structure.

  • A large lead-feature area with slide navigation
  • Featured design stories and article previews
  • A people and designer-profile column
  • News and event listings
  • Resource links and supporting promotional areas

These describe the supplied image. They do not establish that its search, subscription, advertising or slideshow controls were connected to working services.

EDITORIAL WEBSITE STRUCTURE

Room for images.
Routes into the stories.

Different types of content share a single homepage.

The layout gives visual stories a prominent position while using columns and section headings to organise the broader publication. The supplied image shows a distinct editorial composition rather than a small company brochure layout.

This archive entry is based on the surviving project material. It is not presented as a currently live website or evidence of audience or commercial results.
